The UCL Natural Language Processing (NLP) group is part of the UCL Computer Science Department, affiliated with CSML, and based in London. The group also organizes the South England Natural Language Processing Meetup – the largest AI- related event involving both industry and academia in London.
UCL NLP produces outstanding research in the fields of Natural Language Understanding and learning from Knowledge Graphs. The group is also deeply invested in building machines that can understand and reason over natural language documents in a variety of domains, such as PubMed abstracts.
Based on this expertise, UCL is in charge of applying and developing state of the art methods for statistical relational learning from Knowledge Graphs and Natural language documents for the CLARIFY project.
